MIM description of the project: The future software "MIM MultipleInteractiveMatrix" is very unique concept and hard to compare to any existing kind of software. It rather consists of a new combination of various types of software among a unified design."MIM" can be described best as a real-time 3D Chat, which is embeded in an online-adventure-game and offers interfaces for all common formats, so that a general platform-independent medium for online-meetings and file-exchange follows. This happens in a unified design and content draft which shows a strong proprietary character. The characteristic of the "MIM" project is the cooperation between architect and programmer, so that a new, very individual design results, which is completely different from existing game- and chatplatforms. The user installs the main software on his computer. He can suit individually the size of the complexity to his computer there. After the installation the user can move as an avatar online through a 3D real-life world, which was designed thematically and graphically conceptional. After the game has been connected to the internet, the user has the possibility to meet other players in this world and not only to exchange text and language but also data material online (chat). To do this, a face to face meeting of both avatars in the virtual world is necessary (real life-like). The project team also put secrets, riddles and hidden features into the virtual surroundings, which make it possible for the user, if he solves them, to enter other worlds or to change his avatar optically. A characteristic feature for all the riddles is their solutions using the real world, the user is forced to have a good look at religious/philosophical themes and to combine them. Important help for that constitutes the exchange of ideas with the other users in the chat,to get information about the "inner secret" of "MIM". Some of the questions can only be solved by several users. Nevertheless, there´s no necessity for the user to join the game of "MIM", a "simple" use as chat or as online-forum is always and without reservations possible and welcome. "MIM" works also as a 3D-data-exchange-platform. Virtual galeries, opening days, product presentations or exchange of data are just as possible as online conferencing or business meetings in the created 3D-world of "MIM". "MIM" is put up modulous, so that the user has always the possibility to download further features. The project team enlarges the medium during the working constantly. The communication between users and programmers is an important aspect in "MIM". The design in all its forms of expression is a clear sign of "MIM", its very specified and arises from a unified draft-concept of its creators.
